FAQ

1. Does Acupuncture hurt?

No, acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body, and the needles used in acupuncture are much thinner than hypodermic needles used for injections or blood draws, making them less painful. While some individuals may experience mild sensations during acupuncture, it is generally considered a safe and well-tolerated procedure
when performed by a trained professional.

2. Does Acupuncture make any side effects?

Generally No, Acupuncture is considered safe when performed by a qualified and experienced practitioner. However, you may feel soreness, bruising, fatigue, and fainting in rare instance.

3. How many Acupuncture sessions do I need to get the desired result?

The number of acupuncture sessions required to achieve desired results can vary dependingon several factors, including the specific condition being treated, its severity, and how your body responds to acupuncture.
Typically, a series of 6 to 12 sessions, scheduled regularly over several weeks or months, is recommended to achieve optimal results.
During your initial consultation with an acupuncturist, they will assess your condition and create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. This plan may include an estimation of the number of sessions required. As you progress through the treatment, your acupuncturist will monitor your response and make adjustments as needed.
